Step One: Connection + Inquiry
It all starts with you reaching out! Whether you’ve found me through Instagram, TikTok, a friend, or Google, I always say the best part of my job is connecting with down-to-earth couples who value the little moments. Once you send your inquiry through my website, I’ll reply with all the details—packages, pricing, and a little bit about what it looks like to work together.
Step Two: Consultation Call
Before anything is official, we hop on a call. This is where we laugh, share your love story, and dream up what your wedding day could look like. I’m not here to sell you—I’m here to listen. By the end of our chat, you’ll know if I’m the right fit for you (and hopefully feel like you just made a new friend).
Step Three: Booking Made Simple
If we’re a match, I’ll send over your proposal through my online system. You’ll choose your collection, sign your contract, and pay the retainer to secure your date. Everything is digital and super simple—no messy paperwork, just a smooth process.
Step Four: Engagement Session
Most Iowa wedding collections come with an engagement session, because I want us to feel comfortable together before your big day. Think of this as a laid-back date night with a camera in tow. You’ll get beautiful photos for your save-the-dates and I’ll get to know your dynamic as a couple—which makes your wedding day flow so much more naturally.
Step Five: Timeline + Planning
As your wedding gets closer, I’ll send a detailed questionnaire to gather all the important info—family groupings, vendor details, and anything special you want me to know. Together, we’ll create a photography timeline that ensures your day is stress-free and that no little moments slip through the cracks. I’ve photographed so many weddings that I can offer guidance on timing, lighting, and logistics too.
Step Six: Your Wedding Day
When the big day arrives, I’m more than just your photographer—I’m your hype girl, your veil-fluffer, and sometimes even your calm in the chaos. I’ll capture everything from the tear-filled first look to the dance-floor madness at the reception. My approach is a mix of candid storytelling and gently guided portraits, so your gallery feels authentic, romantic, and true to you.
Step Seven: Sneak Peeks + Final Gallery
Within 48 hours, you’ll receive sneak peeks (because I know you’ll be dying to relive it all!). Then, in about 4–6 weeks, your full gallery arrives—hundreds of images that let you relive your wedding day start to finish. You can download, share, and order prints or albums directly from your gallery.
