Toni and Wes’s wedding day at Koru Berry Farms in Homestead, IA was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Koru Berry Farms is such a gem of a venue. The rolling hills, the endless berry vines, and the tucked-away ceremony space make it feel like you are in your own little world. For their ceremony, Toni and Wes chose the open area surrounded by vines with the prettiest tree as their backdrop. It was simple, timeless, and the perfect setting for them to say “I do.”
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour that no one will forget. Drinks were served by the sweetest donkeys, which instantly had everyone smiling and created the most fun atmosphere. Those kinds of details are what make a wedding so memorable, and Toni and Wes nailed it.
Their first dance was one of those moments that makes you stop and take it all in. Surrounded by their family and friends, they swayed together with so much love and joy that you could feel it across the room. As the evening went on, we snuck away into the vines for golden hour, and the sunset over the hills was absolutely dreamy. The light was warm, soft, and glowing — the kind of light that makes my photographer heart so happy.
Once the sun set, the party really got started. The dance floor was full, the energy was high, and Toni and Wes celebrated the night away surrounded by all their favorite people. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
