Hey, I’m Alissa—photographer, hype girl, iced coffee connoisseur (brown sugar shaken espresso is my go-to), and probably your new favorite third wheel.
I’m a total goofball who laughs loud, loves big, and finds joy in just about everything—whether it’s a spontaneous dance party in the kitchen, a quiet moment with my daughter, or a perfect golden-hour shot that makes your love look exactly how it feels. I’m deeply sentimental, wildly passionate about what I do, and the kind of person who will cry happy tears during your vows and then rally everyone for a sunset champagne pop without skipping a beat.
I’ve got a knack for reading the room—knowing when to step in, when to step back, and how to create a space where you feel completely at ease. I love a good plan (color-coded if we’re being real), but I also know that sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones, and I’m always ready to pivot when the magic calls for it. I’m not really type A or B—just a people-loving, memory-chasing, connection-driven mix of both.
I met my husband, Mike, online in 2017, and we hit it off right away. We didn’t waste time—moved in together fast, got married in 2021, and then welcomed our daughter in 2022. We’re a family that thrives on adventure, spending time outdoors, and embracing all things nature. Along with our sweet dog, Mila, we’ve got a flock of chickens that keep us smiling every day. Our home is full of love, laughter, and the simple joys that come from being surrounded by the people (and animals) we love most.
I’ve always had a love for photography, even back in junior high and high school when I was the "annoying" girl taking photos with my Canon point-and-shoot, cell phone, and even my old iPod touch. It was a hobby I couldn’t get enough of, but it wasn’t until 2021 that I decided to dive back in and make it something professional after over a decade old hobby. By 2024, I took a huge leap—leaving my career in Human Resources to go full-time in wedding photography. Now, I’m lucky enough to do what I love every day, capturing those authentic moments that tell a story.
