One of my favorite parts of being a Iowa engagement and wedding photographer is getting to show couples that their engagement session doesn\u2019t have to feel posed or awkward. Instead, it can feel like a date night designed just for the two of you. Think of it less as \u201ctaking photos\u201d and more as celebrating your story in a way that feels true to who you are as a couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, I had the joy of capturing a romantic picnic engagement session in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and it was the perfect example of how magical these moments can be. Instead of stiff poses, my couple brought a blanket, snacks, and their favorite drinks. They laughed, cuddled, and shared quiet moments as the sun set\u2014and all I had to do was document their love as it unfolded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
