April 14th, 2025 was one of those wedding days that felt calm, emotional, joyful, and honestly just really fun from start to finish. Alexis and Ryan brought so much heart to every part of the day, and it was such a joy to be there to capture it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning started at Events on Frederick<\/a> in Oelwein. Alexis and her girls got ready in the bridal suite upstairs, which was absolutely gorgeous. So much natural light poured in, and everything felt peaceful and relaxed. There were happy tears, hype moments, and a whole lot of love. Ryan and the guys hung out in the groom\u2019s lounge, which had this cool moody vibe. It felt like the perfect place for them to chill before the day really got going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once everyone was ready, we headed up to the rooftop for the first look. And let me just say… Ryan\u2019s reaction was hands down my favorite moment of the entire day. The second he turned around and saw Alexis, you could just feel it. He was overwhelmed in the best way, and it was the sweetest thing to witness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their ceremony was held at The Last Homestead<\/a> in Winthrop in the upstairs of a big, beautiful barn. The space was filled with warm wood, soft light, and all their favorite people. They shared personal vows that had everyone tearing up and smiling at the same time. It was simple and sweet and so full of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the ceremony, the bridal party did a little midwest bar hopping through a few small towns before heading back to the reception. It was such a fun break in the day and gave everyone time to relax, celebrate, and soak it all in. Think small-town bars, good drinks, and lots of laughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back at Events on Frederick, the party officially kicked off. The space was cozy and welcoming, and the energy was just so good. Heartfelt speeches, amazing food, and a packed dance floor made for the perfect end to a perfect day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alexis and Ryan, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. You two are so loved, and your wedding was such a true reflection of who you are \u2014 down to earth, full of joy, and surrounded by people who adore you. I\u2019m so excited for everything ahead for you both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
